Terms of Use

Use it as a measuring aid, and verify important work

These terms govern your use of GMeasure AR, including monthly and annual Premium subscriptions.

Effective

Not a certified survey

AR, GPS, and map results are estimates and do not replace professional surveyors or calibrated tools for critical work.

Your files remain yours

You control the measurements and files you create and are responsible for reviewing and backing them up.

Billing is handled by the store

Monthly and annual plans renew automatically and are managed through Google Play or the App Store.

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using GMeasure AR, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, stop using and uninstall the app. You must have the legal capacity to accept these Terms or the required permission of a guardian.

2. Measurement accuracy and use

Do not use app results as the sole source for legal boundaries, title documents, structural work, utilities, safety, medical, aviation, navigation, or any decision where an error could cause harm. Verify critical work with suitable equipment and a qualified professional.

3. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to use the app for personal or internal business purposes in accordance with law and these Terms. You may not resell, rent, distribute, reverse engineer, bypass Premium entitlements, or use the app to create a competing service without permission.

4. Your content and files

You retain rights in content and measurements you create. You are responsible for having permission to capture or use locations, images, maps, and imported data, and for complying with privacy, property, and other applicable laws.

Measurements are primarily stored on your device. You are responsible for reviewing, exporting, and backing up important files before deleting the app, clearing its data, changing devices, or updating the operating system. The developer cannot recover lost local data.

5. GMeasure AR Premium

Plans and benefits

Monthly and annual subscriptions may be offered. Current Premium benefits include removing ads, creating more than one project, and creating more than three folders. The purchase screen controls the current price, trial, billing period, and included benefits.

Billing and renewal

  • Google Play or the Apple App Store charges your store account when you confirm a purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before renewal under the store’s rules.
  • Prices and taxes may vary by country, currency, promotion, and store policy.
  • Manage or cancel through Google Play subscriptions or your Apple ID subscription settings.
  • Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Cancellation normally takes effect after the paid period.

Restore and refunds

Use Restore Purchases with the same store account when needed. Refunds and billing disputes are governed by the applicable store and any mandatory local-law rights.

6. Maps, satellite imagery, and third-party services

Maps, satellite imagery, AR positioning, and billing are provided by third parties under their own terms. Map information may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. Keep required attribution visible and do not extract or reuse imagery beyond the granted license.

7. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Trespass, invade privacy, surveil, or capture images unlawfully.
  • Use measurements to defraud, falsify records, or misrepresent accuracy.
  • Interfere with security, ads, purchase verification, or third-party services.
  • Use the app where it distracts you or creates a safety risk.

8. Availability and feature changes

Some features require compatible hardware, cameras, sensors, internet access, Google or Apple services, and system permissions. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features for safety, compatibility, legal, or provider-related reasons.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that measurements, maps, or services will be accurate, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose. The developer is not liable for indirect loss, lost data, profit, opportunity, or damage caused by reliance on a measurement, except where such limits are prohibited by law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory consumer rights.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms to reflect new features, laws, or operations. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes may be announced in the app or store listing. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
